heehee, back from sarimbun!! i bet you never knew that sarimbun is one of the FUNNEST places ever:DDDDD
it was really very fun and i don't regret going. i guess when we are given an opportunity that isn't up to what we expect, embracing it and enjoying every moment of it is very very impt, cause it determines success of failure.
opps, so intellectual. shall change to the normal mode now.
DAY 1
okay, assembled at forum and stoned there. haha met the main trainers rain and mimi!!!! haha their names are cool. then met our group trainers - WANI AND HADI. yay! they seemed quiet at first but then they became mad. then went to the campsite and then we watched this wierd skit by all the trainers about sarimbun being taken over by japanese soldiers and all of them kept on shouting SALUTA haha meaning salute. okay first activity was lunch haha. seroiusly the food isn't that bad. it tastes pretty good. then changed to shorts and went rafting!YAY put guiding skills to goood use(: tied up the raft and HURRAY it worked!!! or i mean it floated hehe. THREE CHEERS FOR CAMP CHALLENGE TRAINING!
okay then kayaking!!!!! goodness, andrea and I are great at kayaking and we never knew all this time(: haha did a rough tub? (haha is this how you spell it?) with classmates. haha veryvery fun. THIS IS PROBABLY MY FAV. ACTIVITY
okay then went for rock climbing which was very super challenging. as i drew in my reflection book, the side that i climbed stinks. it's HORRIBLE. it has more rocks than the other side but they are all useless. haha you have to get a grip on a useless rock that offers no grip whatsoever. haha. and we have to jump to reach this hand grip which is very hard. haha banged my leg on the wall and had this huge blue-black!!! but not as bad as the one i had during campchallenge. okay then had dinner i think... then went for some night hike which allowed us to get in touch with our emo side. (haha in other words, was boring). okay then went for song session and i learnt a new song!!!! let me recount it

haha so cute! this trainer called meng meng taught us this song and he did the actions gayly. haha when the part MUMMY .... comes on, he screams and jumps up and down. haha etc,etc. haha very amusing
okay then took a shower. oh my, i can only describe the toilets in 1 word. DISGUSTING. haha they stank even before we came to the camp and continued stinking for the rest of the camp. showers were in the cubicles but there were showers in the centre of all the cubicles too, but not covered. so the gang decided to wear our clothes and shower there, away from the smell. far far away. haha then we had a blast playing with the water and wani was there laughing at us too haha. fun lah then slept at the bottom bunk with bessy and jiamin..
DAY 2
according to bessy, i slept like a dead log. haha didn't move at all, okay did move a bit to re-adjust position but still dead to the world. haha probably was dead tired. okay so had breakfast blahblahblah... then first activity was zip-line!!! haha the trainer carrie was super fierce, scared of her!!! haha our half of the class did zip-line and the other half did absailing. if you ask me, i think ours was more fun(: haha so climbed all the way up the tower and then carrie said run and jump. my mouth dropped just about then. haha actually did zip-line before but it's just mortifying with the height and what not. so sort of closed my eyes (worried about drying my contact lenses okay!) and jumped. let out this blood-curdling scream which was probably the longest-lasting out of everyone. haha fun fun fun.
okay next was rope-course which was fun!!! haha the first one i did was the one with the blue cloth, didn't look scary but then when you're up there..... WHOO it's a different story. really quite scary so just too a hop step and a leap and reached the other end. was sad, cos didn't do the higher one so then asked the trainer and then they said could do!!! yay! so when climbing the pole, was rather scared. beacuse it is scary. then when up there, the feeling disappeared. not scary lor. quite chicken feet actually. according to the people who were down there, i started doing komama cheer for truth! haha, honestly didn't know it myself(:
then archery. oh man, was thinking of orlando bloom as LEGOLAS and PARIS!!!! haha hit the board a few times but nowhere near the bulls-eye): haha bessy the pro-archer and charlene hit the bulls-eye!!! yipeee!!!!! got khong guan biscuits from zhang nah mei lao shi!!!!!!!! was yummy!!!! a taste of civilisation(:
okay then outdoor cooking, no surprise, cooked with solid fuel before but the food was much better in school!!! haha soggy maggi mee with sardines and baked beans. haha honestly, the food tasted bleah. haha guides can't help here!!! okay then head out for sarimbun hunt which is actually a hike. walked and walked... on the way sang lots of songs with jiafeng, andrea, nat chen and loh and jiamin. very fun.
then went back to campsite and thought of campfire item and sn idol!!! haha
okay CAMPFIRE was the bomb!!! very fun here's our campfire song item:

eh hmmm, am proud to say that that song was an original production by yours truely and help from jiafeng!!!! never knew i had it in me!!! shall summon these creative juices again like during guides camp this june(:
okay then bathed again.... and went to andrea's a hut where nat loh joined us and we talked non-stop. haha v fun. spent lots of time teasing andrea(: haha and the 3 of us squashed in the top bunk!!!!!! haha squeezy night, but again i didn't move a muscle.
DAY 3
had team building which was some games.... haha truth's spirit is built up enough!!! haha okay then went for challenge valley. actually did it before in pri4 brownies camp. haahaa okay slid down the slide into the MILO pool haha(guess why it's called that) and then plunged into murky water. haaaaa. okay the water seriously tasted metallic, like blood. didn't exactly taste the water kept my mouth and eyes shut tight but the water gushed into my nose and thus the aftertaste. haha thought the blood thing was a rumour. IT'S REAL. SERIOUSLY. okay then cleaned up, prize presentation (we didn't win, but in our hearts we're obvious winners!) and oacked off home.
It was a long 3 days, but it was worthwhile and I enjoyed myself thoroughly:))))))))
