Hehe.. it's been a long time since i've been here, so lets just keep each other updated shall we? haha STARTING WITH LOST CAMP 2006
yup, as you know, went to camp with a sort of cracked up voice, yes the one that ethel and gets said was sexy. man, they are so corny. yup and camp was quite fun lah, must say though that last year's camp with the mighty SABOGA rocked more, but it was doable.
DAY 1 - cannot remember much, but i know that we started with setting up our gadgets and pitching our tent.. geez, getting the 8-man nylon tent was a god-sent.. though couldn't really remember the steps totally. very very sorry:( okay then we did other stuff which i really can't remember.
DAY 2 - scary day man, first was PT, which obviously was tiring. i have come to realise that i am so not physically fit so haha.. sort of promised mum that i would go jogging with her to maintain my already horrible stamina. next, INSPECTION. oh my, it was very very scary. i was really scared out of my wits. hehe, obviously a few stuff was confiscated lah. so really a BIG LESSON LEARNT. i am never going to label my stuff by attaching something onto it. NEVER!!!!!! haha then did the cooking competition which we obviously lost. sheesh, i really need to get more creative ideas for cooking methods.. blahblahblah... day 2 over
DAY 3 - more PT, more inspection.. which was 1000000000000000000000000000(much) worse than the day before. haha trying to be mathematical? here. inspection was really horrid. then had hike which was horrid because it rained, and about 3 patrols (including mine) were like 2 hours late. then had to cook, clean and do all that was needed to be done.. ahha talk about vague. then in the evening, had CAMPFIRE! now this, i enjoyed! haha i'm always high when it comes to singing songs and stuff. haha then MUHU did their great campfire item haha. we sang mama mia, but we changed the lyrics like this: MUHU MUHU here i go again.. blahblahblah. very nice haha. and we did our 2 cheers and that was that. then STOOPID RACHEL POOT did their(hydra) combined item with iona and they sang seasons in the sun. OMG RACHEL YOU GO AND DIE. SHEESH SHE PURPOSELY CHOSE THAT SONG BECAUSE WE SANG IT WHEN WE SAID FAREWELL TO YENING DURING CCPP. YOU IDIOT. after hearing that song, felt really emotional and started crying. haha so stupid lah, but it really meant a lot to me. then had no mood to sing loudly anymore. haha and people like rach ng, ade, huda, steph and poot saw me crying and then we all felt sad.. and hai, you get the point. then after the manito present exchange, found yening and we all seriously broke down. sad times... then had this new thing called guides own, which was really sad and sappy and its purpose was to make us reflect on our past guiding year.. and we wrote notes too to ppl who have made a difference in our guiding life and stuff... haha then slept lor.
DAY 4 - when i woke up, i tell you really had swollen eyes.. i was like the only one in the entire camp can. pathetic. haha then broke camp, and had prize presentation. haha MUHU won the patrol that put in the most effort! yay! that's really good and reassuring to know:) and then sort of stayed back to pack up. gosh i am seriously pissed with the state that the den is in. haha so lame, but quite saddening. so next year, must pack pack pack...
then i went home and crashed from 6pm to 11am the next day. haha did i mention i had horrid eye bags after that?
