(: actually have been back from Malaysia a long time ago for the church camp pre-trip and then the church camp. we went with uncle paul, aunty siew ngor, aunty len leng, uncle alfred, victoria, lincoln and aunty vicky. we went 3 days before the camp to kl, cameron highlands, malacca and finally stopping in Jb for the camp at the sofitel palm resort.
the first 3 days were rather fun, travelled in a van/bus thing and did a fair bit of shopping... cleared some chinese new year clothes too! the air up at cameron highlands was really fresh and good but the ride to the top was horrendous. haahh, never knew i was mildly carsick. there was a pasar malam up there and we went around. the corn is really sweet and juicy. the corn there can be eaten raw!! didn't buy though, just for a snack. hmm maybe the normal corn can also be eaten raw but no one ever tried... strawberry pickin was rather fake and commercialised.. haha they charge so much! the strawberry picking we did in cornwall was more enjoyable:)and shocker, carl was the treasurer for the trip and he kept the food money with him!! haha uncle alfred was funny and called him the "accarltant".. okay wierd but it seemed funny at the time.
then church camp, i really enjoyed the messages and what we discussed in workshops. our speaker, pastor chien chong was good. haha have heard him a couple of times before and i feel tht he never ceases to deliver a motivating message. really thank God for the way he uses people like him to encourage us. one thing we learnt was generosity and giving with sincerity. yup and one day after the camp, the whole family went out and we passed by this donation station thing, you know the kind where people have a bell and go dingdingding... haha dad gave some money to the person. haha quite wierd to admit, but i was really encouraged and motivated by his gesture.. haha. see, my dad is setting a good example for me(: shocker. haha played lots of captain's ball during the camp and enhanced my already black skin. that's sad. this year i shared a room with claudia, debbie and elena who's back from new zealand! haha very fun. eunice was with us maybe 80% of the time too. haha on the last night, we slept really late because crab was delivered to our doorstep! haha our parents went to some good eating place for supper and they packed for us too!!! haha then after attempting to sleep, diana came and we erm..talked? haha then slept rather late. haha, thus concluded the camp.
then came back to s'pore and claudia and debbie left for holiday, abandoning me!!!!!!!!!!! evil... haha so i was left alone, no lah, still have eunice. then the next 2 weeks we ahd youth hub fund-raising with me at the craft store? we did quite well, clearing most of our stock. aha mum sold some unk and people actually bought. haha, you know the combs that the class t-shirt shop gives us when we ordered t-shirts? it so happens that the den has tons of them and haha i took them to church to sell them at 50 cents for 2. haha turned out to be quite a hit! haha many people bought, and i bet most of the poeple in church have a comb inside their bag! haha so i total the money we made exceeded our targeted amount by a lot! yay for us!
on the 23rd, went for caroling practice then audrey's party. quite fun lah, and slept late again! haha we sort of pitched a tent on the verrenda and enjoyed the fresh breeze! haha we watched high school musical and sister act. haha
CHRISTMAS! was fun, did the youth caroling performance at church, aunty pam's house and uncle alfred's house. haha quite fun and i discovered a new love for the canned sausages!!! yummy yummy! haha am hooked on them now!
haha there are no pictures here though! all with debbie, and i wonder if she knows how to send them to me!!! haha DEBBIE! I WANT THE PICTURES!!! oh yes, and i am in 3 truth with nat and andrea! no fair, the trip sci got 3 justice back! evil....
